paper wall sconces
We hope you’re getting out for some exercise and fresh air. These simple paper wall sconces are a fun project for the kids next time you’re on a walk or playing in the yard. Bring those fresh picked flowers inside!
All you need:
Butcher Paper – I used kraft and white
Scotch Tape
3M Double Sided Tape
Scissors
Fresh flowers
Floral tubes – to keep the blooms fresh (optional)
How To:
- Cut your paper into a 12”x12” square. Regular copy paper works fine too.
- Lay two pieces together, and starting rolling from one corner at an angle. Make sure to leave a wide enough opening for your flowers.
- Tape the rolled corner and that becomes the back of your sconce.
- Fold the bottom point backwards and tape it, to make a squared base.
- Repeat to make as many as you want.
- Stick the sconces on the wall, arranging them however you like. Add fresh flowers!

I love this idea! I’m going to do this starting today. My babies always pick me flowers and sometimes I don’t have something to put them in for display. I can even cut the paper to make mini sconces for the small flowers. Thank you for this great idea.

I love this idea as a simple cost-effective way to bless a whole floor of people at work by creating them and affixing them to office doors before everyone arrives :-) What a beautiful and creative idea! Thank you!
