Names of God: Elohim

GOD is awesome. I was wanting to get closer to my Father because I have fallen away. I talked with HIM last night to help me to know Him better. And now look at what I am reading. GOD is so wonderful!!! Thank you so much for spreading His wonderful life saving word!! May God let the blessing from heaven fall overflowing over you and your ministry

I first want to say your ministry has been such a blessing to me and this monthly names of God is a wonderful plan. This will help many Christians who don't know how to worship God.

When I attended Victoria Community Church (now The Grove) the Women's Ministry had a study on "The Names of God". It was a wonderful and knowledgeable study. Since it has been so long since that Study, I am really looking forward to your monthly "Names of God". Thank you & Shalom!

You have been a Blessing to me. The first time I heard about you was in San Diego at the Harvest Crusade many years ago. My son and daughter were with me. My son was killed in a car accident, but he had accepted Jesus as his savior and was baptized a year before he died. Now my daughter and her family all are saved and my grandchildren go to Calvary Chapel Christian School.

I too think this is a wonderful idea. I only know a few names of God that I use when praying. I am looking forward to learning more about Our wonderful Maker and Names and the reasons for those names. I just want to say Thank You for your enlightening ministry. I love You.

I'm making my way back to the Lord! I've been gone so long that I miss everything about God's Word. I'm glad that He never gives up on us. Even in our hardest times He is still there. I'm glad for ministries, because I can listen and relate in ever way. God makes a way in His timing for everyone, and I'm glad He always welcomes us with open arms. Thank you God that you sent your son that we may be forgiven of our sins.

Last year our pastor did a study on the "Lord's Prayer", and began with all the different names for God, and what each one meant. Who would have known. However, it only makes sense that such an awsome God, the creator, holy, redeemer, who gives us life and is so merciful, cannot be described with only one name. I look forward to this study.

GOD is good and does love us so much, but we don't realize how much we tend to take his love for granted, but still he's always there.

You said Elohim occurs in the Old Testament 2570 times, but I never saw it there. Can you please give some scripture to point it out?
