Girls Love to Talk
I was in deep conversation with a good friend one day when Greg passed by and said, “Bye, I’ll be back in an hour.” When he came home, there I was in the same place, still deep in conversation. “What do you guys talk about for so long?” Greg asked. “Well everything!” I replied.
I have been blessed with a circle of good friends who I think are the most godly, wise, creative and fun girls you could ever meet. I’m convinced they could write a book that would help inspire and equip women much better than Oprah, Martha or Dr. Laura could. Why? Their words of wisdom have been fired in the furnace of real family.
I see Virtue as a place to provide women a safe place to look for everything from spiritual inspiration, to cooking, cleaning and helpful hints.
Greg says it’s difficult for him to teach women the hard stuff; respect, submission, keeping it interesting in the bedroom. Honestly, many young girls haven’t got a clue what it means to be a godly girl and still keep it real. My heart would be to introduce some younger ladies to other women who are on fire for the Lord.
So here’s our lifeline to you. Let’s talk about things that matter, things that are true and right and things that are just plain fun.
Let me know what you think, what you want to see on this site. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for this new opportunity to hear from Godly women. It is so unfortunate that in the "busyness" of our lives we don't carve out the time for family and girlfriends. There are so many lonely women out there. Praying this site will be the beginning, for some, to hear and be reminded of what is true, right and "just plain fun" God Bless you and Brittany in this new adventure!

Cathe, thank you for taking the time to teach those of us who are Christians, but don't have Family that are Christians and can give us wisdom in the point of view of a Woman in Christ.
I have been reading God's word, but how do I memorize scriptures, is there a correct way of going about it? You had mentioned how important those bible verses were to you in a time of a crisis and I want to be able to do this for my friends when they have their own difficulties.
May God continue to Bless you and your Family for giving us Woman, the Virtue site and Bible Study!!
Love in Christ,
Ingrid

thank you...i just kinda tumbled into this page Virtue. thanks...:)
..maybe writings on bumping into other families in the house of God --like How to be a godly Momma and keep your child grounded in the Word...which glorifies God and for the Jesus centered family.. is every parents goal!
I am looking ahead at my daughter spending more time w/ jr. high-Harvest ...but she has had to stand alone right now as she makes good choices>> and seriously doesnt want to follow the world.
She is 11 and last year..of her own free will...gave her heart to Jesus..yay!!!
~~.Im a single Momma..I want to protect her from "clicks" etc. pre-teen problem..church..because its best to keep a good testimony in the house of God. amen? In reality she is watching me first..as I follow Jesus...so my first duty is to reflect His love and His path...but I want to encourage her fully...any good words for raising godly girls would be great. All Gods great love and grace! III John 4..

Hi Cathe,
First of all, what a beautiful site you have! A great new ministry you have going here and I'm interested to see how it will grow in the future.
I do have a request for the site. I just graduated from high school in June, and I'm getting ready to start college in a month. Could you perhaps write a devotional or a note or anything to share advice for girls my age just stepping out into this world and getting ready to equip themselves for changing the world for Christ. I've noticed that while I have the passion for sharing the word of God, the task is very daunting and I sometimes feel too young, to weak, or too disadvantaged with only a bike for transportation. And please pray for me as I start what I know will be a great, fulfilling journey.
Thanks, and God bless you and your family.

Thank you, Cathe.. You are such a woman of inspiration! This site is always right here waiting for me.. I have such struggles with making the time for our Father, and to study, I mean really study, His word daily (like I would like to). I mean I pray all of the time, but I KNOW that isn't enough!! I would like to attend services at Harvest more often, including Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, as well as women's Bible studies.. However, I don't have my own transportation at the moment. I am dependent on my family for that, so, I have no other choice than to "wait and see" what will happen!! I am trying to balance everyday life between all of my relationships, especially the one with Jesus! It seems like the devil is doing everything he can to keep me from growing further in my faith!! I have no excuses. On the other hand, when it comes to this computer.. when I am available, I should be right in here getting all I can from this site!! I would like to see some "Cathe Laurie Devotionals" as well. LOL. I apologize for spilling my heart out, and I thank you again for being you, and all you do in our congregation!!! :)

I love your website. I attended Harvest during my collegiate years, now I'm 100 miles away. I feel connected to the church via Virtue. Virtue brings great balance of lighthearted simplicity and spiritual stimulation. Thanks for the exploration of your spiritual gifts via social media. I find that your articles hit mundane topics with spiritual insight. Thank you, Virtue Team!
