Jewelry tells a story. Each piece has something to say about the person who wears it. A person’s style, interests, and their playful side shows through in pieces that they choose. I love walking into one of my friends’ bathrooms because her jewelry is displayed all across the counter. Not only does it look beautiful, but it also reminds me of her, smiling and dressed up, wearing one of her pieces.

A simple piece of wood, dressed up with some cute hooks and paint, can make for a great accessory piece. Use small hooks for rings and large ones to support necklaces. Keep it simple; your jewelry will act as an accent to the board.

Supplies:

  • 1 piece of wood
  • Paint (your choice)
  • Picture frame hangers
  • Hooks of all kinds

Paint your wood piece. Nail the picture frame hangers on the back. Attach your hooks, either by screws or nails. Tie a ribbon to the frame hangers for an added touch. Hang where desired and add your jewelry.
