Vintage-Inspired Vases
These vintage-inspired vases can be made in a variety of colors. The technique is simple using inexpensive vases, spray paint, and, yes, puffy paint! This is a fun, easy project that anyone can do. Your friends will love them and they make great gifts too . . .
Needed Materials:
- Matte spray paint
- Puffy paint
- Vases, bottles and cans
Steps:
- Using the puffy paint, paint on your desired pattern. You can create shapes or stick with a simple line and dot pattern. The more imperfect the pattern, the more unique the vase!
- Once the puffy paint has dried, spray paint over the entire vase. Let dry and repeat if necessary, until your new vase has an even-colored coat. This works best using light coats (about three coats).
- Let dry and you’re ready to fill with flowers or simply display them around your home.

I am going to try this one with my granddaughters. Each year I try to do some crafts that can be given as a gift to their parents at Christmas. I think they will enjoy this. Thank you for passing on these great ideas. Love, Sharon Psalm 40:1-3
