Make your own cold foam brew at home with this simple recipe. I like it sweet and salty, but you can also make it seasonal by adding a bit of pumpkin pureé, a dash peppermint extract, or even lavender!

Ingredients + Equipment


8 oz. Cold brew coffee (I like making my own or using an organic store bought)

¼ to ½ cup heavy cream

1 tbsp. granulated sugar

Hot water

Dash of Vanilla extract

Dash of Salt


Tall glass

Small mixing bowl

Hand mixer, mild frother, or hand whisk



  • In a small bowl or pitcher, add granulated sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and a tiny bit of hot water. Combine until sugar dissolves into a simple syrup.


  • For the cold foam, pour heavy cream into a mixing bowl  and use a mixer, frother, or whisk to whip together until it begins to fluff in texture.

  • Pour cold brew over ice into a tall glass; top with cold foam. Enjoy!
