This is an account of events that took place in 445 BC, long after the destruction of Jerusalem during the Babylonian captivity. Nehemiah was a Jew born during the exile who rose to a position of leadership in the court of Artaxerxes. As cupbearer to the king, he was a trusted advisor. But Jerusalem lay in ruins. Follow the story of how God used Nehemiah for the seemingly impossible task of rebuilding the wall.
