Rosemary Cashews
These nuts are so simple to prepare and would make a great Father’s Day gift or a lovely hostess gift by tossing them in a simple glass container with a lid. Wrap the jar with a ribbon and include a nice handmade tag to personalize the gift. These would also be great to serve to company when they’re nice and warm out of the oven.
Ingredients:
1 pound roasted, unsalted cashews
2 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary leaves
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spread the cashews out on a pan and toast them in the oven until they’re warm, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the rosemary, cayenne, brown sugar, salt and butter. Toss the cashews in with the spiced butter. Let cool.
