Raspberry and Cream Cheese Appetizer
I am always thinking of new things I can make with cream cheese, and I have made many of them over the years. But this year, I put together an appetizer that has been a big hit, looks very festive, and is yummy! It is so easy, just a few steps, and you can add more or less of any of the ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce package of cream cheese
- 1 bottle of Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce (I use Bronco Bob’s from Albertson’s)
- 1 package of fresh raspberries
- 1 pomegranate
- Toasted pistachios (a quick way to do this is to put them in a dry frying pan and let them brown, stirring often so they don’t burn)
- 1 orange
Directions
- Put the cream cheese on a nice serving platter.
- Pour the chipotle sauce over the cream cheese, letting it run onto the plate (you can use a lot of sauce or just a little; it looks good both ways).
- Add the raspberries, pomegranate seeds, and toasted pistachios on top.
- Zest the rind of the orange on top, just enough to make it look pretty, and there you have it!

Thank you for sharing this recipe. This was a hit at at my husband's surprise birthday party. I used Albertson's Raspberry Chipotle Sauce since they didn't carry Bronco Bob’s Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce. What Albertson's did you find this brand? I would love to compare the difference.
