Welcome to the 2011-2012 Virtue Bible Study! If you are not able to join us in person, we'd love for you to follow along with us online! The small group part of our study very important. If you are able to meet with (or host) a small group to watch the videos and have discussion time, we would encourage you to do that.
In addition, each week we will post a few of the questions from the lesson here for you to discuss.
1. It's the beginning of a new study and a good time to set some personal goals for the year. Please share how you hope participating in the study will help you grow.
2. Psalm 1 tells us that the godly person delights in the Law of the Lord, meditating in it day and night. What practical steps are you willing to take and what changes are you willing to make in order to read, study, and meditate in His Word on a daily basis?

I want to surround myself with God's word. I look forward to the plan the Lord has for me and I open my heart and mind to Him. I give Him the reins.

I will commit to this study for so many reasons!
1. To know God more.
2. To be used by God.
3. To be a blessing to God.
4. Because I am grateful I have God's word to study.
5. To learn from other believers.
6. To have prayer partners.
7. To be a better wife and mother.
8. To be a better nurse.
9. To be a part of Harvest.
And not least of all...
10. To glorify God.
Thank you, to everyone, for all you do to make it available to those of us than can not attend in person.
Because of Christ,
Teri

I will set a time each day to settle down with my study and my Bible. I will make myself accountable to someone regarding this time set apart each day for devotion and study time. And of course I will commit to not missing any meetings for anything less than something that is beyond my control.

I will commit to having a quiet time each morning, even though I want to stay in bed. Carrying the memory verse in my pocket on a 3x5 card and memorzing it, making it a point to pray each day and fellowshipping with other sisters in Christ in my church family. Thank you so much for making this study available online. Blessings upon blessings to all of you! Luke 9:23

I have never been excited like this for a Bible Study. Psalms! I am already overcome by the depth and emotion of these precious words and truths, and I've only done 1 lesson. The Lord has great big plans for all of us this year! Faithfully, Diane

Hello,
I have been trying to access these studies for a couple days now and I am not able to for some reason. I did access this introduction at one time when it was posted. But now I can not even access that nor the audio on any of these. I am not sure why, I guess it still could be on my end here, but I wanted to let you know in case it can be fixed on Virtue's end.
Thank you,
Marie

Pray without ceasing and asking God daily to order my steps in His word. Living in the character of His son Jesus. To be contagious and let the love of Jesus affect those I come in contact with daily.

My husband was virtually unemployed here in the mountains of Nevada for over two years and the other day he left to go to three weeks' training in Georgia...for his new career (praise God). I labored in organizing my goals for these three weeks; all of the things I wanted to accomplish while he's away. Long story short, technology caused me to lose this list I worked so hard noodling out...and it didn't take me long to see that I was meant to instead read the book of Psalms with you and see what our Lord has on His list for me to accomplish...I'm sure my next list will be a little more fruitful.
