VERSE:

“The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. . . I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep and am known by My own.” —John 10:11, 14

 NOTE:

A hired hand tends sheep for money, while a shepherd does it for love. The shepherd owns the sheep and is committed to them, even willing to lay down his life for them.

 PRAYER:

Lord, You know my name because I am Yours. I want to follow You as a sheep follows a shepherd. Thank You for your love and commitment to me. Amen
