I Am Statements: I Am the Bread of Life
VERSE:And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger.” —John 6:35 | NOTE:Jesus contrasted Himself with the manna that came down from heaven during the time of Moses when He said He was the bread of life. Manna gave daily physical sustenance, but the Bread of Life can satisfy their spiritual hunger forever. | PRAYER:You are the very sustenance of my spiritual being. May all my appetites be nourished by You. I treasure the words of Your mouth more than my necessary food. I come to You for my daily spiritual bread. Amen |
Each month in 2012, we will highlight one of the “I AM” statements of our Lord to better understand who God says He is, and what it means to each of us personally.

"and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty" - Amen!
Awesome job on the calender Harvest team! Thanks Greg -
The big bold print is an eye catcher here at work, that's the idea - let His word go out!

The "I Am" statements clearly emphasize the encouragement of Jesus found in John 17:3, "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." (NASV).
Additionally, when the "officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees" came from the temple to arrest Him, Jesus asked them "Whom do you seek?" After they answered "Jesus the Nazarene", He said, "I Am". Then "they drew back and fell to the ground". In your life, has the presence of the true and living God, our Savior, brought you to your knees in reverence and awe?
Always keep in mind, and spirit, the eternality of the One who now and forever is, the great I Am.
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." (II Cor. 13:14).
