HI! I went to your Harvest Crusade at Jones Beach and have been blessed by it and your messages via podcast. I live in New York and have enjoyed the Bible Study via computer for the past year. Will there be a link for the new series? If not, can I somehow purchase a recording. I've donated to your wonderful ministry via computer in the past and will continue to do so. Thanks for all you do and for being such great examples and leaders for Christian women. I really can't tell you how the Holy Spirit works so perfectly through the Bible studies. I have learned so much and get to share it with my children and my patients as I am a home care RN. Thanks.

Where is the deductive bible study for the second lesson? I feel like I get so much out of completing those!

I see lesson two, but only the inductive. Will you be posting the deductive? That is the one I really liked.
Thanks and God Bless

I so appreciate the wisdom & insight provided thru these studies and thank you for posting the materials for women unable to attend in person. I was so blessed by your Gospel of John study last year that I spread the word and am doing your study this year with my daughter. We live in Connecticut. James is so rich in encouragement for all of us - especially in light of the trials that many of us are currently facing. I love how he urges us to live morally pure lives in light of God's grace and to pursue unconditional obedience to the Word of God. Not an easy thing to do in our culture today, nor was it easy in his culture!
We are using the deductive materials and look forward to viewing the video for Session #1. Thank you and may God bless the good work you do to encourage women in the Lord!

Dear Virtue:
Were you ever able to fix the problem with Lesson 1 audio? I would love to hear the complete message. Also, when does lesson 2 audio get posted?
Christie Merrill | October 1, 2010
We are still looking into the problem with Lesson 1. The teachings took place yesterday and the day before so we hope to have the audio posted later today.

Hi! Thank you so much for offering this Bible study. I live in Germany and have not yet found anything similar over here and am therefore very grateful that the Lord led me to your website. The first lesson was a wonderful way to study the book of James.
I do have one question and hope someone can share her answer with me.
On page 6 'Touch point' we were asked to compare James 1:1-12 with Matthew 5:1-12 and to find some similarities. I have to admit I found this exercise difficult. After awhile, I came up with two similarities, but I am not sure if my answer is correct.
I hope that I don't spoil anything if I give my answers in the comment sections, but I would really appreciate some feedback.
Matthew 5 Verse 6: ... are hungry and thirsty for what is right, ... be filled.
James 1 Verse 5: ... lacks wisdom, ... be given to you.
and
Matthew 5 Verse 12: ... your reward in heaven is great ....
James 1 Verse 12: ... they will receive the crown of life ...
Are there any more similarities?

Yes, I found this exercise a little difficult too. I found the same similarities as you, but also found:
Matt 5:10--blessed are those who are persecuted (a trial)...
James 1:12--blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial...
Matt 5:12--rejoice and be glad,...
James 1:2--count it all joy...

Wow. I so need a change in my perspective. I love how Cathe described moving your house from the sand to the rock inch by inch, trial by trial, step by step, shifting bit by bit from the sand to the rock. I want this eternal perspective. What a timely challenge for me. Thank you for providing these resources, video, Bible study...what a blessing!
