Speaker Bios

Kate Merrick is a writer, speaker, pastor’s wife, mama of a teen and a toddler, surfer, part-time cowgirl, and self-proclaimed chicken whisperer. She has been married to Britt for 19 years and they live in Carpinteria, California, where they founded the Reality family of churches. In 2013 she endured the death of her daughter, Daisy Love, after suffering through cancer treatment for three and a half years. After Daisy’s passing, Kate was silent for three years in grief and contemplation. She now blogs at KMerrick.com with fresh perspective and newfound freedom to be sentimental or silly or anywhere in between. Kate has written two books: And Still She Laughs (2017) and Here Now (2019).

Madeline Carroll is an actress, speaker, and screenwriter. Her lengthy film and television career began in 2003 at age four and continues to this day. When she was 19, she was told it was impossible to be a Hollywood actress without taking nude roles, which she refused to do. Madeline was ready to give up her career, praying that if God wanted her to continue acting, He would send her roles that would edify and bring glory to Him. The next day she was offered a role in God Bless the Broken Road. She went on to star in the Erwin Brothers’ 2018 box-office hit I Can Only Imagine and  Pure-Flix’s Indivisible. In 2019, she teamed with Jon Erwin and John Gunn in her screenwriting debut for the film,  I Still Believe.  

Shaunti Feldhahn is a ground-breaking social researcher, best-selling author, and popular speaker on a variety of topics including marriage, parenting, and relationships in the home and workplace. For Women Only is one of many books she has co-authored with her husband, Jeff. Others include For Men Only, and most recently, Thriving in Love and Money: 5 Game-Changing Insights about Your Relationships, Your Money, and Yourself.  She is gifted at presenting eye-opening, practical insights into the challenges and joys of learning to communicate and invest in relationships in lasting, meaningful ways.
