Chicken Fondue Bread
Chicken Fondue Bread
I got this recipe when I was a new bride 35 years ago; it is always a favorite at any gathering. You can also have crackers on hand. It is so yummy!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups grated jack or cheddar cheese (I like jack)
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3–4 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
- Round sourdough bread, not sliced
Directions:
- Slice a lid from the bread, hollow it out, and reserve the inside pieces of bread.
- Mix the other ingredients together and put the mixture in the bread bowl. Put the bread lid back on. Place it on a cookie sheet and cover with it foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 90–120 minutes. For the last 15 minutes place the bread pieces on the cookie sheet to brown.
