This is a one-pot dish. So easy yet so delicious and satisfying! All your family and guests will love it. Great flavors from the sausage and sun-dried tomatoes. Lots of textures, colors and flavors to enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of your favorite pasta
  • Turkey sausage in casings, like Jennie-O
  • Sun-dried tomatoes sliced in a jar
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or chopped
  • 6 tablespoons pine nuts, roasted
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon hot chili flake (optional)

Directions:

  1. Boil water and prepare pasta per package directions.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic until tender.
  3. Add sausage by squeezing it out of the casing, and brown with the onions.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes to the sausage and onion in the pan and stir.
  5. Add chopped broccoli and cover until the broccoli is tender.
  6. Add the hot chili flake (optional), goat cheese, and pine nuts, and toss with the pasta.
  7. Serve.
