boursin cheese + roasted tomato appetizer
This classic appetizer is one of my favorites! Freshly roasted tomatoes, drizzled in oil on a thinly sliced baguette with a dollop of savory cheese is so colorful and delicious. Or serve this over your favorite pasta for a fresh and simple main dish!
Ingredients
1 pkg Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
1/3 cup olive oil
1 pkg Boursin Garlic + Fine Herb Cheese
2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh or dried herbs such as basil, thyme, oregano
¼ tsp red pepper flakes, optional
Salt + Pepper to taste
1 baguette, thinly sliced
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°
- Place cheese in the center of an oven-proof dish that will look pretty to serve in. Arrange tomatoes and finely chopped garlic around it and drizzle with oil. Sprinkle herbs on top. Note: If you’re using fresh herbs, add them at the end of cooking time.
- Bake until the tomatoes begin to pop and the cheese browns just a bit.
- Serve with thinly sliced baguette, warmed or toasted. Enjoy!
