Rylie has a cute little stool she uses every night and every morning, while brushing her teeth. I wanted to do something to spruce it up a little bit! This is so incredibly easy but makes a big difference! We personalized it with her name and we both loved how it turned out!

What you need:

  • Stool (We got ours at Target)
  • Paper
  • Mod Podge
  • Sponge Brush
  • X-Acto (Utility) Knife

Directions:

  1. Put the stool upside down on top of the paper. Cut around it with an X-Acto knife. It should be the exact size you need, but if not, correct it with scissors.
  2. Put a layer of Mod Podge on top of the stool. Then place the paper you are using on top of that. Remember to be patient and wait for it to dry!
  3. Once it’s dry, put a layer of Mod Podge over the paper. Repeat this step a few times.
  4. At this point, if you wanted to add anything like letters to spell out your child’s name or a cute die cut, just place it on while the last layer of Mod Podge is still wet. Wait for that to dry and then put one last layer of Mod Podge, or spray with water repellent if you want.
