This is a great sweet potato recipe with a little twist. The cranberries add great flavor and are a pretty garnish!

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 3/4 stick of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of fresh cranberries

Directions

  1. Bake sweet potatoes in 350-degree oven until done but still firm. Cool and peel.
  2. Slice sweet potatoes into even slices and place in 13″ x 9″ baking dish.
  3. Pour butter over sweet potatoes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Arrange cranberries evenly over the top.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
