Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings
Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings
If you are looking for an easy, delicious, and presentable dish for your dinner party, Parmesan chicken wings are the perfect entree that’ll have your guests wanting more. The crispiness of the Parmesan, combined with a dash of smoked paprika, takes this chicken dish to a whole new level.
This scrumptious twist on an American classic (barbecued chicken wings) allows for this dish to be a more sophisticated entree that can be served at any party.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick lemon and pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 fresh sweet basil leaves, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 bottle bleu cheese dressing or ranch dressing
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
Preparation
- Rinse and clean the chicken wings. Pat them dry with paper towels. Set them aside in a big bowl.
- Preheat your oven to 425 F. Add the oregano, rosemary, cumin, lemon pepper, paprika, and salt to the chicken wings. Toss well so each chicken wing is nicely coated with the spices.
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake for about 25–30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the olive oil, basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese and salt together in a small bowl.
- In another small bowl, mix the bleu cheese (or ranch) dressing and the mustard together for dipping.
- When done baking, broil for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken wings out of the oven and toss them with the garlic Parmesan mixture. Serve the chicken wings immediately with the dressing.
